Yr 5 Balaji Temple

Our Year 5 pupils thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the Balaji Temple in Tividale.  They commented on how interesting it was to observe real Hindus participating in prayer and worship, and felt it  enhanced their understanding of The Hindu faith. The children contributed well and were particularly interested in finding out about the seven faith hills on the site: these were constructed to show respect to seven major world religions.
