Year 3 Visit to Lunt Roman Fort 2025

After using the secret password, Year 3 were granted entry into Lunt Roman Fort where we were greeted by Nius, the Roman centurion.
He taught us about weaponry and armour, and showed us how to march whilst shouting 'Sin Dex! Sin Dex!' (short for 'Left, Right! ' in Latin). His fine new recruits then participated in a Battle Drill in the arena - training with swords and shields, and using formations to defend themselves from attackers!
