Year 5 and 6 pupils had the exciting opportunity to visit the Balaji Temple in Tividale, one of the largest Hindu temples in Europe.

The trip was part of our RE curriculum, helping the children explore and understand different world religions and cultures.

From the moment we arrived, the pupils were captivated by the beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere of the temple. We were warmly welcomed by the temple guides, who explained the significance of the different deities and shrines. The students were fascinated to learn about the traditions of Hindu worship, including the use of prayer, offerings, and music.

Thank you to the staff at the Balaji Temple for their hospitality.
