Under 10 Rounders

As the rain came down in Solihull on Tuesday morning, Mrs Slatter, the under 10 rounders team and I left school hoping that the sun would come out so the under 10 tournament wasn’t cancelled.
Just as we pulled into Dixie Grammar School, so the cloud broke and the we started the games in glorious sunshine. We played 4 games in all during the tournament and the girls learned and developed as the day progressed. We scored plenty of rounders and took some difficult catches in the field. Sadly, it wasn’t our day and we were narrowly beaten in each game.
Star Player- Raeesa - scored rounders in school game and took one outstanding 1 handed catch.
