Nicola Baker Author Visit

Author and star of TV show 'Our Farm in the Dales' visited Ruckleigh to inspire our young readers and writers, and tell us all about her book series, 'A Whistledown Farm Adventure'
The children were fascinated by tales of farm-life including all the animals, honey-collecting and haymaking. We learnt to write about what you know and love, and that writing stories is like making a cake...just don't forget the special ingredient! A huge thank you to Solihull Children's Book Group (of which Ruckleigh is a member) for this opportunity.
