ISA Under 11 Netball

We started the first game slightly under par and went down 3-0 to a team we should have beaten. We picked up slightly in the second game albeit losing 3-2. However, we woke up and went on a winning streak with Valeria and Zainab and Raeesa dominating the ball and scoring goals for fun. We eventually finished the morning winning 3 and losing 3 finishing 3rd in the group. This meant that we went into the top competition playing against a good Crackley Hall team. We defended well, but couldn’t get the ball to our attacking players and eventually lost 5-0. This result meant that we finished 5th out of 14. It was a marked improvement from last year thanks to the coaching of both Miss Spencer and Mrs Russell and the attention to detail and commitment by all the girls. Overall we were pleased with the way the girls played and 5th position was probably about right.

Star Player: Valeria- a constant threat at Goal Attack and was busy and creative all day.
