EYFS trip to Waterstones

 It was such a wonderful and memorable outing. During our walk, the children engaged in lovely conversations about the weather and the different things they could see and observe around them, showing great curiosity and awareness of the world.

When we arrived at the shop, the kind shopkeepers had thoughtfully set up a special area for us to explore the wide range of Mr Men and Little Miss books available. The children thoroughly enjoyed browsing through the stories before Mrs Hutchinson read us a new one that we do not yet have in school.

Before leaving, each child had the opportunity to visit the till and purchase their own book to take home and share with their families — a very grown-up moment! Back at school, we reflected on our experience and wrote some beautiful recounts of our wonderful trip.
