Year Two Visit 'Conkers'

Year Two enjoyed a super day of adventure and discovery in the sunshine at Conkers. The fun began with a 'Bare Foot Walk' where we experienced a wet and muddy sensory trail that certainly proved we have the Ruckleigh 'have a go' spirit in abundance! Next, we spotted butterflies, beetles and dragonflies on our bug-hunt through the pretty wildflower gardens and natural woodland within this beautiful setting in the heart of the National Forest. We had a train ride to the Amphitheat​r​e for our picnic lunch followed by a fun half hour on the challenging adventure playground.  The day ended with an ice lolly in the shade to cool us down and an exciting 4D cinema experience. Perfect!
