On Thursday, Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed their first outing of the year to KES Birmingham to meet the acclaimed RAP artist  - Karl Nova. The children loved hearing about his childhood experiences and his journey into poetry. He performed some of his favourite raps which enabled audience participation. The children had a fantastic time and found Karl not only entertaining but inspiring. Having recently spent time writing their own poetry, the children were particularly keen to ask him questions about his love of this genre and how it became his career as well as his hobby.
