Year 4: Visit to Synagogue

As part of our study of Judaism, Year 4 visited the Solihull Synagogue. We were met by our guide, Marina, who explained many of the objects used in Jewish worship and also some of the practices undertaken. The children were given the opportunity to hold the Menorah and the smaller Torah and tried on a Tallit.
It was a very informative visit and we all learnt something new. Well done Avneesh, who asked and answered many interesting questions; Marina was very impressed with him. All the children behaved impeccably and we were very proud of them. Well done Year 4.
