Year 2 visit Umberslade Farm

On Wednesday 23rd September, Year 2 visited Umberslade Farm. We had an enjoyable day learning about the different animals. We visited the pigs and met husband and wife; Jack and Curley Sue, who were expecting piglets and met Peppa and Jo-Jo, two very friendly pigs, who were more than happy to pose for a photograph. We fed the ducks, chickens, goats and calves, took a goat for a walk, had fun on a tractor ride, visited the small animals and held a big, white, fluffy rabbit called Snowy and Lolly the hairless rat. Lolly even sat on some of our heads!
