Year Two enjoyed a special dance and drama workshop bringing their History work on the 'Great Fire of London' to life.  Their creative afternoon with the  'Freshwater Theatre Company', provided real insight into what life was like 350 years ago.  The children explored how the fire started; why it spread so quickly and how it was finally extinguished.  Source evidence from artifacts, paintings and Samuel's Pepys diary was examined and a reflective town planning meeting was held to discuss how London should best be rebuilt. What a super afternoon!
