Year 1 - How to make a pizza

In English this week the children have been learning about instructions and our creative writing task was to write the instructions of how to make a pizza using lots of bossy verbs.
What better way to learn how to write instructions than to practically do them! The children had lots of fun telling our pizza making robot Miss Spencer the steps of how to make a pizza. They were very surprised when she put the bag of cheese directly on the pizza and learnt that they needed to be specific in their instructions. Most importantly the children then went on to write some fantastic instructions using their new skills.
