On Wednesday Year 6 took a “Farm to Fork” excursion to Oaklands Farm where we learned how strawberries are grown, harvested, packed and then sold and secondly to B and G Nurseries where we leaned about the different crops grown during the summer months and how the farmers ensure that the quality of produce that we receive is as good as it can possibly be. Thanks to Thomas Franks and Worcester Produce for a really interesting and informative day out.
