Selly Manor Visit Year 4
Friday, 17 June 2016
Year 4 enjoyed a wonderful day at Selly Manor, Bournville. The visit was part of their History topic 'Tudors and Stuarts'. Selly Manor is a very good example of a Tudor House and contains many artefacts from the period. The children particularly enioyed dressing up in the Tudor costumes and trying on the armour which was unbelievably heavy. We all learned a great deal about life in Tudor times and we even played with toys from the period.
