Ruckleigh Snow Day in EYFS

The children eagerly wrote their names and drew pictures in the snow, made snow angels and had lots of fun throwing snowballs. They also worked together to try and dig toys out of the ice, showing great teamwork and perseverance.

We even attempted to build a snowman! However, the snow was very fluffy and powdery, so he turned out to be more of a snow pile wearing a bucket hat than a traditional snowman – which the children found just as amusing.

It was a magical morning full of laughter, exploration and excitement, creating some very special winter memories for our youngest children.
