This afternoon The Ruckleigh Debating Society ​met to consider whether or not 'Police Should Be Armed'.​Our six 'Speakers' spoke eloquently as they delivered arguments for and against The Motion.​​After listening to final statements from both sides, 'Members of the House', who consisted of pupils in Years 3 to 6, voted which resulted in:

For the Motion: 62

Against the Motion: 42

Abstentions: 2​
