On Thursday 9th June, the whole school joined in with the Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations! The day was a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn about the monarchy, put some of our shared British

Values into action and to come together as a School in such a joyful way. In the morning some children produced some brilliant work about the Queen and the Commonwealth, then, at lunchtime, the party commenced! We all enjoyed a street party out on the playground and the whole school shared a delicious lunch with fantastic entertainment. Lauren Mitchell made an elegant Queen look alike and performed her duties very well. Children also enjoyed designing and making their own special plates and luckily, there were no breakages. A lovely day for all involved.
