We are delighted to announce the results of the Primary Maths Challenge Bonus Round paper for our year six pupils. The first stage of the challenge took place in November 2019 when our year five and six pupils competed alongside 66,500 children across the country. Successfully answering a variety of multiple choice mathematics problems, Avneesh, Tarun, Toby, Taneesha, Aryan, Mohammed, Sonum and Abhi joined the highest scorers who were invited to take part in the PMC Bonus Round in February 2020.

All eight children rose to the challenge and we are extremely proud of their achievements. Six children received awards: Aveneesh and Tarun achieved bronze, Mohammed, Sonum and Abhi received silver and Aryan was one of only 195 children nationally to receive the gold award. It is such an achievement to receive recognition for mathematical ability on a national scale. All of the children at the school enjoyed taking part in the Challenge and most importantly, it shows them that maths can be fun.
