Poetry Slam

Our annual Poetry Slam was once again a wonderful occasion, with classes performing their chosen poems 'off by heart' with super expression, rhythm, clarity and confidence!  This year's poems were all related to our Science Week theme of 'Time'.  This is always a hotly contested event and our judge Mrs Badham, from the school office, found it extremely difficult to choose. However, this years' winners were as follows:
Early Years Winner: Kindergarten for 'The Clock' (A Mother Goose Rhyme).

Lower School Winner: 1P for 'The Clock' (Unknown author)

Middle School Winner: 3B for 'Bedtime' (Eleanor Farjeon)

Upper School Winner: 5R for 'I am Fine. How are you?'  and 'My Get up and Go has Gone and Went' (Anon)

Winning classes have received a treat and certificate. Congratulations  to everyone!
