Nursery hatches chicks
Tuesday, 6 June 2017
As part of their learning about life cycles and the world around us the children in Nursery have been looking after eggs. The eggs were in an incubator for 21 days, the children had to monitor the temperature and humidity. The children were very excited to see the eggs begin to crack and hatch and now they have the responsibility to look after them, ensuring that they always have food and water. We have had lots of visitors to see our lovely fluffy chicks including Kindergarten, Year 2 and lots of interested parents. At the end of the week the chicks will go to Mrs Freeth's farm for a long and happy life!
