Natural History session

We were all very excited to welcome back to school Gill, the 'Animal Lady' who has such a wonderful way of communicating with the children and with the animals for which she cares.  Today we were treated to learning about the type of animal displayed, from where it originates, its habitat, lifestyle, feeding and defence mechanisms.  The children were able to come close to a Tortoise, a Laughing Kookaburra, a Chinchilla, a Californian Snake and a Dragon Lizard.They were all beautiful creatures and the Kookaburra amused us all.
