Some of our year 5 pupils enjoyed visiting KES to listen to the author - Matt Dickinson talk about his own Everest adventures to provide inspiration for reading and writing. Matt is an internationally renowned author (and mountaineer).Some children also ordered one of Matt's books - 'The Everest Files' and had the opportunity to have their books signed as a reminder of a special experience and a message about the importance of reading.
