Jaguar Land Rover Story Writing Competition
Wednesday, 18 January 2017
In January Key Stage Two children were invited to enter a story writing competition run by Jaguar Land Rover. The story had to involve a Land Rover vehicle on an adventure. Nine local schools entered the competition and they received over 150 entries. The winner was a Year Five child from a local Junior School but we had a very close second place winner: Taneesha from Year 3 who was commended for her creativity with her character 'Andy the Landy'. Alice from Year Six was highly commended and received a prize for capturing the reader's imagination in her story. We are delighted with Taneesha's and Alice's achievement;, both girls have been presented with three 'Landy' books signed by the author Veronica Lamond.
Well done Taneesha and Alice!
