ISA under 11 5 a side football

We arrived with plenty of time for a good warm up and went into our first game well prepared. We strolled through the first 3 games with 4-1, 3-1 and 2-1 victories topping the table early on with Fuaad, Areev and Ibrahim scoring goals for fun. We then dropped our first points scoring a late equaliser in our 4th game, but the tougher teams were still to be played. These then proved to be our downfall as a run of successive defeats, interjected with a brilliant 10 - 0 victory saw us fall down the league. We ended the day with a superb 6-1 victory with even Neil ( the goalkeeper) getting on the score sheet from a penalty. Mahdi was strong at the back and his thunderbolt of a right foot was useful with a couple of long range goals. Asad came on and showed some lovely touches scoring and creating goals throughout the games.

All in all it was a great day, but finishing 5th in the league meant we didn’t qualify for the latter stages of the competition.Star player: Areev who showed touches of brilliance and led the team well.
