30 of our Year 4, 5 and 6s boarded the coach on Thursday morning full of excitement to travel to the ISA Midlands Athletics meet held at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium in Leicester. We competed in sprint, long distance, long jump and the throwing events as well as entering 6 relay teams. All the children participated with enthusiasm and no shortage of skill. Areev, Morayo and Hana all made their sprint finals as well as Areev winning the cricket ball throw for his age group. The Year 6 Girls 4 X 100m relay team also made their final eventually finishing 8th. Well done to all the athletes who represented the school in such fine style.
