Celebrating Holi
Wednesday, 28 February 2018
On Wednesday February 28th Mrs Naidu came in to school and gave a wonderful and informative talk on the traditional Hindu Festival of Holi.
We learned that the festival celebrates the beginning of spring as well as the triumph of good over evil. It is best known around the world for the powder that revellers throw on each other, leaving festival-goers coated in colour by the end of the day.
Thank you again Mrs Naidu for a delightful Assembly. The Holi festival certainly sounds both interesting and great fun!
