Year Two Pond-Dipping at the Parkridge Centre

As part of our Geography curriculum, Year 2 children enjoyed a lovely long walk through Solihull to the Parkridge Centre in Brueton Park.

We had great fun pond-dipping and even managed to catch a male Smooth Newt and Great Diving Beetle! Next we used binoculars to spot Herons and other native water birds.

After our picnic lunch, we enjoyed spending a little time in the adventure playground and enjoying the splendid weather!
