Our Year 6s were taken on a tour of the Birmingham Central Mosque this morning taking in the community room where they saw a model of the mosque in Medina where the Prophet Mohammed is buried and then the main prayer room. They were amazed to find out that 4000 Muslims can pray in that room at one time. Thank you to our guide who gave us so much insight into the mosque and Islam itself.
