Year 3 Gurdwara Visit 2023

Year Three visited the splendid Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Smethwick to deepen our understanding of the Sikh faith as part of our RE curriculum. The Gurdwara was very welcoming and the children learnt how sharing, equality and tolerance are all central to Sikh beliefs. HIghlights were being invited to share the Langar meal and hearing the beating of a special drum used to announce the entrance of Guru Granth Sahib, the sacred text of the Sikh community!
