Year 2 Trip to Cadbury World

After completing a local history study about Bournville and the history of Cadbury in the Spring Term, Year 2 were thrilled to finally visit Cadbury World. The children had fun investigating the harsh realities of working in Victorian England. We learnt how the Cadbury family improved working and living conditions for their employees by building a 'Factory in a Garden' and why Bournville was selected as an ideal location. We learnt all about chocolate too of course and enjoyed a sample or two along the way! The children's favourite part was the 4D cinema experience which rounded off a super day!
