Year 1 St Augustine Church Trip

As part of our RE curriculum Year 1 visited St Augustines church in Solihull. Deacon Kevin showed us around his beautiful church. He explained all about the different Saints and we talked about the items they were holding. We saw the layout of the church and identified who the people were in the stained glass windows. We also looked at the font and saw how it was used to baptize people of all ages. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Deacon Kevin, he is a very kind and caring man.
