We have enjoyed an exciting and very healthy time at Ruckleigh participating in Healthy Eating Week. On Tuesday 20th June, Kindergarten made a delicious potato salad​​ chopping spring onions, lettuce and potatoes and mixing this with peas, yoghurt and mayonnaise. Year​ 2 enjoyed some active maths that afternoon, finding clues around the field that had maths problems​ to solve​, they answered the questions in pairs as quickly as possible then ran to the next clue. On Thursday 22nd June ​N​ursery thoroughly enjoyed making fruit kebabs​;, they chopped melon, peeled satsumas and threaded the grapes along with the other fruits onto sticks.The children have created some fantastic dishes and become more aware of their healthy eating choices. Thank you to all the parent helpers for their support.
