A Resounding Success

On Wednesday our Under 10 cricket team travelled away to Westhouse to avenge last week’s under 9 defeat. The sun was blazing and the team was pumped and ready to play. Captain Kian won the toss and chose to field and the wickets tumbled from the start. Arnav was the top wicket taker, but we were also razor sharp in the field with Areev and Ethan in particular showing top drawer fielding skills. Kian kept wicket superbly and we reduced their innings to 62 off 20 overs. After a light tea we took to the field and were just as impressive batting as we were bowling. Yahya got us off to a flyer with a smattering of boundaries. The wickets were kept to a minimum and alongside some brilliant running we managed to amass a total of 105 off our 20 overs. It was a a superb innings and all of the batsmen chipped in with scores. I was so proud of the way the boys conducted themselves in all aspects of the game. A top performance and result.
