As part of our mini-beast topic we had a special arrival this week - some amazing caterpillars. We have loved watching them eat and grow fatter and fatter and they have started to spin some of the thread which they will ultimately use to wrap themselves into a chrysalis. We have learnt all about the Butterfly life cycle and look forward to seeing how our class caterpillars develop over the next few weeks. We are hoping to release the "Ruckleigh Butterflies" just before the half term when they develop and the weather is warmer for them.
