Trip to the British Masters Golf - The Belfry

Ten pupils who regularly attend golf club, took up the opportunity of a trip to the Belfry for the opening round of the British Masters.
The group, accompanied by Mr Watson and Mr Laurens, followed former U.S. Open Champion Justin Rose during the morning. Justin didn’t let the boys down, firing a brilliant 65 to lead the tournament.
After lunch they caught up with Shubhankar Sharma, India’s number 1 golfer on his opening few holes. The group then followed defending Champion, Thorbjorn Olesen. Here the pupils were filmed by Sky Sports receiving high fives from Thorbjorn on his walk from the 3rd green to the 4th tee.
A great day was rounded off with a visit to the merchandise centre for some souvenirs.
