Year 2 were very lucky this week to have Arjoy's father come and give an assembly about the 550th anniversary of the Sikh founder Guru Nanak. They learned about his history and the important principles that he lived his life by. The children had some very interesting questions and were able to share some of their own knowledge about Sikhism. Mr and Mrs Grewal very kindly brought the children cards, cake and even a small chocolate to celebrate the occasion, which ensured very bright smiles!
