Nursery have been very busy this half term with the topic of 'People Who Help Us'. In addition to our visit from the firefighters we have been lucky enough to have some Ruckleigh parents in to tell us about how they help people in the community. Leia's mother, who is a doctor, came to talk to the children about looking after other children when they are in hospital. Kian's mother, who is an optician, came to speak to the children and give them some special eye tests! Eleanor's mother, who is a nurse, came to give the children a fantastic practical experience of being a nurse complete with masks, aprons and bandages! A huge thank you to all of the parents who have given up their time to help the children learn more about 'People who help us.'
