An inexperienced Year 5 girls netball team took to the court to represent the school for the first time in 2 years on Tuesday at the ISA Under 11 Midlands Tournament. The girls were understandably nervous as they hadn’t played competitively for 2 years and were playing against mostly Year 6s. Nevertheless they worked hard every game and became more confident as the tournament progressed. Each game was a challenge and the girls grew in match experience and knowhow and team spirit. Well done to all 8 girls- this will prove invaluable for next year’s tournament!
