On Thursday 28th June, fifteen Year 2 children were lucky to attend a multi-sports afternoon at Dodderhill School, with ten schools competing. They began with a picnic on the field with their friends and were then put into teams. The children tried a variety of activities, including tag rugby, diamond cricket, kick rounders, long jump, mini hurdles, tennis, foam javelins and netball. The emphasis for the afternoon focused on participation and not competition where the children made friends with children from different schools. All the children had a wonderful time; the day ended with certificates and cakes.
