Looking after our teeth!

A big THANK YOU to Mrs Rathinavel who, on Tuesday 31st October, came into Ruckleigh to talk to Year 4 about how to look after their teeth. The children learned the names of the different types of teeth, their function, position in the mouth as well as the scientific names of the cross section of a tooth. Using an over-sized toothbrush, Mrs Rathinavel showed the children how to brush their teeth and with which type of toothpaste. At the end of the session, Year 4 were given the opportunity to ask questions and they were gifted a tooth bookmark to remind them to brush their teeth twice a day for two minutes. What a fun and informative session!
