Four of Ruckleigh’s talented mathematicians recently took part in the KES Borcherd’s Shield Maths Challenge which consisted of two rounds of maths questions, lots of running around and, most importantly, FUN!

Eleven teams competed in total with all children being split into pairs - each couple having to solve a mathematical puzzle whose answer was then fed into the other pair’s subsequent maths problem and so on. It was all very close, with only a few marks separating the top few places.

Well done to Laavunya, Prisha, Sai and Cayman on representing the School so well and achieving fourth place.
