This week we received the results of the ISA West Midlands Art Competition. This annual competition see’s pupils from Independent Schools across the region compete to win the competition regionally and then be entered as finalists in the national competition held in the spring. We have a history of doing well in the competition but this year pupils from across the school have produced extraordinary work, including the following pupils who have won their competitions and been placed in the national finals:

 

‘Andy Goldsworthy Swirl’ by Vanya , 1st place 2D Art category year 1-2

 

‘NHS Thank You Poster’ by Aidan, Highly commended 2D Art category year 3-4

 

‘Ice Cream City’ by Adhvaith , 1st place 2D Art category year 5-6

 

‘Giraffe Mask’ by Caleb , 1st place 3D Art [pictured on our first page]

 

‘City Bird's Eye View’ by Anoushka  2nd place KS2 Drawing category.
