ISA Under 9 Netball

Our Year 4 girls left Ruckleigh early on Tuesday to make the journey up to Stafford Prep to play in the Under 9s Bee Netball Tournament. For some of the girls it was the first time they had represented the school and were therefore very excited. We started the tournament very nervously and lost a tight game 2-0. We then grew into the competition coming from 2-0 down to win our second game 3-2. The next couple of games seemed to fly by and we lost a little bit of control and composure losing to some more experienced teams. After the lunch break we had 2 games left- we drew the first one 2-2 and won the second game 2-0. All in all it was a great day and I’m sure the girls had a great time working together and building their confidence and team spirit.
