On Monday it was the turn of our Year 5 girls to represent the school in the latest ISA tournament. They were initially nervous drawing their first game 3-3 and then lost the second, but that seemed to spur them on and they then won the next 3 games in the group including a resounding 10-0 victory. This put them in 3rd place in the group meaning they played the 3rd placed team from the other group for 5/6 place. This was a tough, bruising encounter against a feisty Salterford House team. However, the played well and battled hard and ran our 4-1 winners and so finished 5th out of 12. It was a brilliant day and the girls were a credit to themselves and the school.
