Whole School Healthy Eating Week 12th-22nd June

Healthy Eating Week has got off to a fantastic start, we had ​Y​ear​ 4 making morish muffins on Monday, ​Year 5 made delicious looking spring rolls on Tuesday and ​Y​ear ​6 made a tasty cous cous salad this morning. The children have ​​cracked eggs​, ​​peeled, chopped, grated ​​and​ ​​mixed​ (with varying degrees of success!). We are all trying to achieve our 5 daily challenges; to eat 5 fruit/vegetables a day, exercise for 60 mins, drink 6-8 glasses of water, to try something new and to eat a healthy breakfast. Some children have brought different fruits in for their snack such as a flat peach, star fruit or passion fruit. Year ​3 have designed their own healthy eating plates of food and even made some springy fruits and vegetables to remind us all to make the right food choices. Keep up the good work everyone!
