Great Ruckleigh Bake Off

This extremely popular annual event took place this morning and what a display of cakes we had. I hear the planning has been going on for weeks and Year 6 have certainly proved themselves to be very talented bakers. Mrs Slatter, Mr Whichello, Mrs Wilson and Mrs Forster had the serious task of judging cakes in the different categories: most chocolatey; most colourful; most creative and the very 'Ruckleigh' cake. Mrs Parker and the PA team had the task of judging the best tasting cake...the teachers of course sampled too!
Well done Year 6, Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood were very impressed :-)
