The Great Fire of London Workshop

To coincide with our History Topic on Famous People and Events, a workshop by the Freshwater Theatre Company was arranged. They used  drama and dance activities such as role play and tableaux to explore the topic of The Great Fire of London.

This will gave the children the chance to explore different aspects of the fire, such as what life was like in Pudding Lane beforehand, how the fire happened and dealing with the aftermath.

They also got to become ‘fire’ using ribbons and mime.
