Four Ashes Golf Range

On Thursday 17th November Mr Watson and Miss Reading took a group of Year 5/6 boys to Four Ashes Golf Range. This was an opportunity for the boys to test their golfing technique by hitting real golf balls instead of the safety balls used on the Ruckleigh school field. The newer Year 5 members of golf club hit the ball very well considering they have only just been introduced to the game in the last few weeks. They concentrated on grip, posture and ball position. Year 6 boys were focused on hitting the ball to the greens and flags with great success despite the challenges imposed by the weather. Everyone had a great time.
