This term the C​hess Club has been learning how to play chess by focusing upon the different pieces and the roles they play within the game. Today, as the weather was so lovely, C​hess ​C​lub took place outside on the large chess board with the outdoor chess pieces. The outdoor chess board was recently installed and is a popular resource children use during play times and lunchtimes to play chess or chequers with their friends.Two teams of 5 challenged each other and a fine battle commenced! In the end the white team won, but only just!
